Bundle of Little Wonders
2023 – “Little Wonders” series (view series)
120 x 150 x 1.5 cm
Oil on canvas
This piece marked the beginning of the Little Wonders series.
A bundle of collected feathers—
a bundle of collected wonders.
For me, the feather carries the memory of an ancient dream:
the dream of flying.
Of lightness.
Of being held by invisible forces.
Each individual feather is a masterpiece.
Too delicate to handle carelessly, and yet so strong that it can carry a bird through the sky.
When we take the time to really look, its full complexity reveals itself.
Color nuances. Shades. Fine lines.
And then this almost magical realization:
A feather is made up of countless little feathers—structure within structure, wonder within wonder.
Just like our lives.
This painting is a collection of moments like these.
A conscious pause. Bringing together what we so often overlook.
The feathers remind us that they once carried a body—light, free, effortlessly gliding through the air. They stand for trust in movement. For the knowing that lightness doesn’t mean superficiality, but inner stability.
Bundle of Little Wonders is meant to remind you of exactly that:
That we always have collected wonders all around us.
That we pick them up, keep them, maybe forget them—but they’re there.
As the first work in the series, this painting sets the focus:
When life gets loud, when stimuli overwhelm us, we’re allowed to gather our gaze. On the small. On the delicate. On what seems insignificant.
This piece is meant to be a calm anchor in the room—and at the same time an activator.
It offers a focal point and invites you to discover something new again and again.
It brings stillness to everyday life and at the same time reminds us of our longing.
Of the dream of flying.
Of the strength in what is delicate.
Of the wonders we’ve already gathered.

Art is more than a decorative picture on the wall.
Art is a luxury you’re allowed to treat yourself to, because it makes something resonate within you.
Art is individual—and the opposite of mass-produced goods and fast-moving fashion.
A work of art stays with you (and sometimes for generations) and becomes part of your life and all the stories within it.
My paintings are resources in which you can recognize yourself.
They are my personal engagement with the challenges and beauty of life.
I invite you to find your own resource in the depths of the layers and the richness of the colors—for strength, focus, or calm in your own life. And to give your home a truly personal touch with my art, and tell your own story through it.
