This painting is wilder, more impetuous than others. The thistle feels almost angry, its armor agitated, charged with tension. Fiery orange meets soothing lilac and deep purple\u2014an encounter between energy and a longing for peace. <\/p>\n
While I was painting, I remembered situations where I was brave and showed myself\u2014and was still perceived as aggressive. In truth, it was my fear that was showing. No safety in calm, but turmoil inside. I wanted closeness, but had no words for the protection I needed. <\/p>\n

The colors and shapes reflect this state: applied thickly, partly scratched, with older layers underneath showing through. It\u2019s a painting of contrasts\u2014fire and soothing, expression and vulnerability. <\/p>\n
In the smaller format, the painting feels almost more intimate. I deliberately created it at this size\u2014not as a big statement, but as a quiet companion. A painting that can hang in a private place. <\/p>\n
For me, it carries an important message: it\u2019s okay to be angry. Anger shows that something in us has been touched. And beneath that reaction there is usually something very tender\u2014the need to be seen. <\/p>\n
When you look at this painting, remember: forgive yourself. Not everything that seems loud is wrong. Some things are simply honest. You are not too much\u2014you are alive. And wonderful. <\/p>\n

You can pick up your chosen piece in person at my studio in Karlsruhe. Alternatively, I\u2019ll send it to you professionally and securely packaged (free within Germany and for purchases of \u20ac1,000 or more). For larger or international shipments, I\u2019m happy to provide exact prices on request. <\/p>\nWhat happens if the artwork arrives damaged?<\/strong>
I pack every piece carefully in a sturdy wooden crate. If something does arrive damaged, I\u2019ll offer an immediate replacement or refund\u2014simple and personal. <\/p>\nCan I return the piece if I don\u2019t like it?<\/strong>
Yes. You can return the piece within 14 days if it doesn\u2019t meet your expectations. I understand that art is very personal. However, I ask that you cover the shipping and return costs. <\/p>\nHow long does shipping take?<\/strong>
