Tender Warrior
This warrior doesn’t wear rigid armor, but one she has chosen herself.
She knows her limits, her depth, and her instinct.
She retreats when necessary—and steps forward when it counts.
There are plants that protect what lives within them—with thorns, firm shells, prickly leaves. And there are women who do exactly the same.
This series is a tribute to tender hearts that have learned to arm themselves—not to hide, but to stay true to themselves in an often loud world.
Artichokes, proteas, thistles—they wear their history visibly: firm on the outside, soft on the inside. Their beauty is not smooth, but one that surprises.
They are not decoration, but an attitude.
Like women who have learned that strength and gentleness are not a contradiction.
That we are allowed to be defiant when something is not good for us.
And that sensitivity is not a flaw, but a gift.
The works show this dual movement:
Shyness and courage. Retreat and presence. Delicate lines, powerful colors.
Parts of the canvas that remain open—and those that carry layer upon layer.
They speak of inner struggles and quiet decisions.
Of the moment when we show ourselves—at an exhibition opening, in conversation, in everyday life—and at the same time, a part of us wants to flee.
And yet we stay.
We remain.
In the dress of a warrior, with an open heart.
This series is an invitation to stop feeling wrong for feeling differently.
But to be proud of what makes you permeable—and therefore strong.
May every painting remind you:
You are right just as you are.
