Like a memory that doesn’t fade, but slowly takes shape.

This painting tells of the moment of metamorphosis – when the same no longer fits. When we suddenly feel that, although grown from the same earth, we are striving in different directions.

We wore the same clothes, played with the same dolls, were almost like twins. And yet, at some point, there was friction. My sister: clear, determined, visible. Me: searching, fumbling, quiet in my inner self. While she already knew, I still had to become.

The colors tell the story – earthy, stable, and yet interwoven with a fragrant pink that lays over the background like rose petals. The painting does not stand alone. It is a continuation – a second part, an echo of sisterhood that strikes out on its own path.

It rests on a solid foundation and unfolds freely.
It shows: even if we are different, our bond remains. And each of us is allowed to take our own shape.
